Something bad the ladies were doing yesterday evening to a lot of customers consecutively
- - Turned away for high blood pressure at the Saunders center in Laredo at 6 PM.
- - The reading was deleted.
- - It affected donations and a $70 payout.
I will change my review from 1 to the full five if this is resolved and I receive compensation.
The reason for that was because it was 1 hour close to their closing time. When I ask the lady can we try it again so I can see my numbers she got nervous and said oh you can't see it already deleted. I asked her can we try it again and you let me see and she said no you cannot try again. This really put me in a problem since that never happens to me When they check my pressure.
This is one of the ways I you use to pay my bills and it messed up a lot of things for me now I cannot donate twice in one week to receive the $70 on the second donation since it was on a Friday. I really hope you help me with this and I really need the compensation especially since I did not deserve what was done to me and the other people in front of me.

Okay problem didn't get solved
Okay, I have been going every Wednesday and Friday since January. The ladies who do your protein check said my protein was good; my last donation on 1-23-2026 was 44. Then when I came on 1-28-2026, they said I needed to give a sample because my protein was low. First, they said my sample hasn't come back yet.
I said I haven't given any sample. The ladies who check your protein are lying. They yell at the donors. When you tell them they squeeze your finger too tight, they say we have to do that to get the blood out.
I said no, you do not. All you have to do is *** my finger with the needle, and it would flow. They lie, have nasty attitudes, and argue with donors. Now I'm trying to see why my protein was low when all week it was normal.
Somebody didn't do their job right or got me mixed up. Something needs to be done at that Grifols center.

- - Fire alarm during plasma withdrawal; I was disconnected, felt lightheaded, EMS called after 22 minutes for low BP; I have paramedic bills.
On 01/31/2026, I was in the withdrawal cycle of having my plasma removed when, at 12:08 PM, the fire alarm went off. The office staff disconnected me; I immediately became lightheaded and woozy.
A staff member held on to my left arm and walked to the area where all donors and staff were for accountability.
Long story short, after 22 minutes, a staff member finally made the call to EMS (paramedics) as my blood pressure was very low. I now have outstanding emergency paramedic bills and would like to speak to someone for assistance.

I completed all the steps needed to receive the bonus for December, but did not receive it. Have talked to the center in Amarillo Tx and they have yet to be able to fix it and get the bonus for me.

They have an online scheduling system that apparently either doesn't track or the employees on site simply choose to ignore unfamiliar faces.
I waited respectfully for one hour before asking what gives. She stated that I had to fill out some on boarding paperwork but there wasn't anywhere on the website for that.
Then of course she asked for ID and such.
Which I would have had if there had been any indication given to me whatsoever before I "scheduled my appointment" on THEIR website...
Of course after everything I go in a month later [had been busy] and brought the required documents but they still treated me like I was a major inconvenience and stated my veins were too small..
If I can get treated at the ER and have medicine injected in my veins whilst passing out, then Grifols staff should be able to do their job and get my blood!
I suspect there's a lot of favoritism at my local center. I just wish they weren't the only one in town I can't afford gas money to travel to another place...

I was denied my full reference bonus and blocked when I asked about it at your Panama City, FL business (Grifols Biomat USA). I was very polite; you can pull the phone records.
I insist you do; this is borderline criminal.
I'm very fortunate that I have the means to say something, but they are taking advantage of a lot of elderly people. We need the money that is guaranteed to us.
Preferred solution: The other $50 that i am owed for my reference.

I have been here for 2 hours; no one has seen me, but others that have been here after me have been seen. The phlebotomist is very slow and bad with her customer service.

They have not paid me yet and the took responsibility for what they done and tried to cause a prolonged issue and the meeting was proof it's was the worst part of my life she almost caused the same reaction again but never apologize for what she done still haven't been paid
I said, 'Ma'am, if your individuals that work for you documented properly, we would never have this situation.' Then she got more aggressive, and I told her to have a nice day. I walked away and ended up going into cardiac arrest and had to go into the hospital from Friday until two days ago. I was fearing that she was going to assault me, and I didn't want to go back in there. This is not right; they owe me $2,000 in referral fees.
I also did advertisements for the company because I like to give back to my community, and I appreciate some individuals in there. Other ones were vouching for my referrals, but she was trying not to pay me and told me we can't honor this. You can't talk to people in the lobby; now where is it posted in that facility that you cannot talk to people about referrals in the lobby? These were my personal referrals.
They only told me I spoke to one individual, then she made accusations that I was forcing people to put me down as a referral because I was a large 6'4' black individual, and this was a white woman coming at me in a racially hateful way, and I do not appreciate it. Go somewhere else to donate.

At the end of my plasma donation, blood and plasma began pouring from the needle sitesoaking my shirt, the chair, and dripping onto the floor. The first technician I flagged down laughed and said, Oh, you leaking, then just stood there and did nothing.
No urgency, no care, no basic medical protocol. After she left, a trainer approached. Rather than help, he pretended to be the owner, referred to the staff as my employees, and tried to silence me instead of treating the injury. When he realized I was recording him on my phone, he turned pale and went silent, clearly panicked.
It gets worse: The manager refused to identify herself, wouldnt provide her name or a card, and even hid her badge.
She dragged me off the floor to talk privately, more worried about hiding the incident than my well-being. She admitted, Everyone here is being trainedwe learn on the job.
Thats not an excuse; its an admission of incompetence and unqualified staff. I was left bleeding, humiliated, and with zero trust in this place.

My arm has been bruised since March 28th. I can't extend it; it bothers me so bad.
It's still swollen.
I've already gone to the ER to make sure I didn't have blood clots. I lost my job due to the fact that I had to call off work because of this issue.
Preferred solution: One time compensation for the inconvenience. A report was made at the location I donated. I’ve missed work and lost my job because of this.

Liar. If you researched and knew the onboarding wasn’t on the website (it’s not), you would have seen the very LARGE 4-line list of “donation requirements” on the homepage. Line 4 being the documentation requirements.
The stupidity wasn’t on Grifol’s part.
